| Lafayette, California is located in Contra Costa County. Geographically, the country runs from sea level at the eastern shore of the San Fancisco Bay to the second highest point in Northern California, Mt. Diablo. The climate is hot and dry in the summer, with daily highs in the 90's and 100's. In the winter, the temperature can get into the low 30's and 20's,
and on rare occasions it will snow on Mt. Diablo. Lafayette is about 35 miles east of San Francisco. |
